NGC 7538 – Puppy Nebula

NGC 7538, near the more famous Bubble Nebula, is located in the constellation Cepheus. It is located about 9,100 light-years from Earth. It is home to the biggest yet discovered protostar ( astwhich is about 300 times the size of the Solar System.

There is no conventional name for this nebula, but, I see a little puppy with 2 eyes and large ears and a small nose.

This image was taken in narrowband and I used Hubble color palette to assign colors to the narrowband data.

Took this image over 9.3 hours. (Hydrogen Alpha 12 images of 20 minutes, Oxygen III and Sulphur – 8 images of 20 minutes each).
