Homeopathy

Per Wikipedia, ‘Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann of Germany, based on his doctrine of like cures like, according to which a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people will cure similar symptoms in sick people.’

The modern medicinal approach that introduces chemicals in the body to counteract forces in the body that are causing sickness. In most cases, it suppresses the symptoms of the disease and does not cure people using their own immunity.

Homeopathy, on the other hand, usually introduces few molecules of the remedy into the body of the person and triggers its immunity. In fact, the smaller is the quantity of the remedy, the deeper response it triggers.

Scientists pooh-pooh this branch of medicine and call it a pseudo-science and just placebo.

However, I disagree vociferously. We have used homeopathy since childhood for medical needs and almost every time we have seen that the any administration of this medicine creates distinct, and easily identifiable changes in the body.

All the research that seeks to prove that homeopathy is humbug is unfortunately done by scientists who are disinclined to consider any phenomenon as scientific unless they can explain the physical/chemical/biological process behind it. The fact that the homeopathic effects on the body are a repeatable phenomenon has not persuaded the scientists to look at it with more details. The vested interest of the pharmaceutical companies is one of the main drivers why homeopathy has continued to be derided.

It is my firm belief, that any chronic disease cannot be cured by the modern medicine in most instance. They can suppress the symptoms, they cannot cure you from inside. For that, homeopathy is the only viable solution.
